“What if I fall? Oh, but my darling what if you fly?” – Erin Hanson.

As Erin Hanson says – to be able to ‘fly’ comes down to a few things – your character, your attitude, your desire, your commitment and belief that you can. With positive intent and energy start to visualise what you want. Be in “achievement mode” and be on your game through the power of your senses – hear, touch, smell see, feel.

Bring your visualisation to life and find your own Life Coach who will be your own personal pacesetter who you can work with you in a way that enables you to exercise and train beyond the mood. It takes courage to step into the space of self-discovery and yet when you start, you realise that the tiniest of pushes is all you need to get things rolling and create the momentum that puts your growth into action. Who doesn’t want that?

Understanding the role that being curious and creative plays in enabling you to fly is key as well as caring enough about yourself to have the courage to go there. Ask yourself each morning – “how am I going to show up today?”. Then with intent, purpose, passion, belief and an inner confidence that is starting to soar you will move forward in the direction of your dreams. From an initial visualisation of “what could be” – you move to the world of “what is”!  So you start to align your mind, body and soul. Wow! You’ve got this.

There are times when we don’t always think about our relationship with our self and it does impact on our own wellness. So, we have to establish good boundaries so that we feel both safe and productive. It’s really important to build an environment where you can thrive rather than survive. We have to protect our minds, bodies and souls from being taken over by negative chatter and harmful self-talk.

Sometimes we don’t feel connected to our true self and we can experience this as though there is an inner us and an outer us. We therefore must find ways to connect them both so that we are congruent with who we are and are

living our best life. Easier said than done at times, as the circumstances we find ourselves in are not what we always planned. Our journey that we had prepped and packed for is suddenly taken away and we find that we may be

having to head in another direction. As my colleague Laura Thomson-Staveley always reminds us – we have to be just like the fox and be foxy in our approach. So as humans can also adapt to our surroundings with ease and confidence.  We can make a choice to reset or take a setback.

We all want to succeed and achieve something that makes us feel worthy and valued. To do this we need to take some time to reflect on our wins, our walls and our wisdoms. This teaches us lessons to either repeat because they were good for us or not as we went crashing into a wall! Wisdom is the one thing that we can take with us wherever we journey. Part of this journey is to be mindful of the language that you are telling yourself. Do you use language that lifts you up so your can soar high as a bird and fly or language that drags you down into a pit of despair?

As a Wellness Coach I work with people to ensure that the relationship you create for you keeps you well and I invite you to think about the following seven things:

  1. Be clear on your own boundaries – what will you accept and what won’t you accept?
  2. Know that the expectations that you are putting on yourself are realistic and within your reach.
  3. Use language that has positive intent to create an optimistic outlook.
  4. Keep above the “drama” line by focussing on your purpose, your intent and your goal.
  5. Look forward rather than always looking back – even if that looking forward is only for the next 10 minutes.
  6. Know that you have a choice and it’s about creating options for yourself that you can choose from.
  7. Let go of whatever you think might be holding you back and focus forward to each new day.

Looking after you as a whole person is fundamental to your wellness. To look after your mental, physical, emotional and spiritual self is the gift that keeps on giving! The relationship you build with yourself is everlasting so ensure that the destination you choose is one that brings you happiness and joy and deepens your wisdom that you can share with future generations.

When I first started out coaching, I used to panic that people wouldn’t get the title of my newly-chosen profession. In my previous career I worked as a live-events producer where I felt respected and valued. Though I eventually found the stress of the work too demanding and knew I needed a change, I always held my head high when explaining my role. Why did I care so much what other people thought of me? I would often rehearse out-loud, whilst driving in my car, the answer to that dreaded question “and what do you do?”

I now truly believe that it’s what you do and how you do it, that matters, not the title. Helping people make changes that transform their lives in a positive way is a pretty amazing way to make a living and why I love my work.

I moved with my husband to Send in Surrey six months ago and know that this is home. Being able to walk from the house – across fields, along the river Wey, over stiles, exploring public footpaths and actually enjoying getting a little lost is simply glorious. People have time to say hello and we feel a sense of community already.

Being part of this community and starting to feel that I belong is vital. It is a basic human need to want to belong; to fit in. My clients often talk about not fitting in – feeling out of their depth or struggling in work or personal relationships. Recognising they feel stuck and wanting to make a change in some way but not knowing where to start. Personally, I welcome change with a big ‘Hello there!’ which is most likely why I enjoy helping clients to embrace a change they desire to live a happier, more successful life.

In today’s environment coaching feels more relevant than ever. Every new year we see a surge in gym memberships, and we resolve to start exercising more as we strive to achieve greater physical fitness, but why are we less attentive to our own mental fitness? Self-care is an on-going process and is as fundamental to staying healthy as looking after our physical body. Coaching is like having a personal trainer for your mental wellbeing – investing in your future happiness.

So, what is life coaching, and how can it help? In essence coaching is a conversation-based approach that helps move someone from where they are, to where they want to be. Whether you are looking to explore a goal, follow a new career, have a better life/work balance, have more self-confidence, manage a break-up, challenge a limiting self-belief or simply follow a dream – coaching helps you gain clarity, and feel motivated to take positive action to get there.

I often ask potential clients – When was the last time someone really listened to you? I mean really listened to you without piling in to tell you about their similar situation or going off on a tangent to tell their own story. That unique time to focus on yourself, and your thoughts and actions, is where the magic happens.

As people navigate a path to feel better about themselves, they build stronger and healthier relationships with their colleagues, friends and families, and as we know – better relationships build better communities.

I admit I am an advocate of coaching, but I do feel changed and in a good place both mentally and physically. My aim is to stay true to my beliefs and avoid looking back and worrying about what other people think, that’s their business. We can only change ourselves and live our best lives.

Business owners who strive to become successful often need assistance.

Many of them try to get the necessary information from classes and books. Although these can be helpful, nothing compares to having a mentor. These experienced individuals won’t only help you succeed as a businessman, but also to become a better person.

Through a long-term relationship, a mentor can become your source of support, teaching, and wisdom. He or she can build your character and assist you in gaining a competitive edge.

Here is a list of 9 benefits you get from having a mentor who wants to maximize your potential:

Improved Confidence

One of the most significant benefits of having a mentor is improved confidence. With the guidance of someone who went through a number of challenges, you are bound to have a greater sense of resilience.

It becomes easier to believe in yourself and your capability to overcome obstacles. Having someone who has been down a similar road makes you realize you can do it too. It’s a fantastic motivation, particularly when you’re feeling stressed out or disappointed.

Vital Life Experiences

In most cases, the mentor will be older than you, but regardless of age, they will be more experienced. Therefore, these individuals can share valuable lessons they have learned during the courses of their lives.

As you can already guess, these lessons can be very, very valuable. Through life coaching, a mentor can help you lead a more meaningful life. Being able to learn from someone else’s mistakes lets you make better decisions in your own life.

Personalized Advice

By advising you, a knowledgeable mentor will work on your weaknesses and hone your strengths.

You will be able to grow your business with tailored advice coming from the mentor. Unbiased, honest advice is essential for those wanting career progression.

Therefore, it’s important to appreciate the connections and information he or she gives you. However, avoid relying solely on your mentor for every career break. After all, you’re the only one in charge of your personal and professional life.

A Different Perspective

Business and life mentors can help you perceive a situation from a perspective you otherwise wouldn’t consider.

Here’s an example – imagine yourself as a new business owner (or don’t, if you already are one). You may find it difficult to look at your business through the eyes of a government official, potential investor, or a customer.

A mentor can be of great help with this. He or she already had to deal with these people before and knows how your business looks to them.

Expanded Network

People who already experienced success in the industry have formed a number of relationships along the way. A mentor who wants only the best for you will connect you with important people.

In turn, these people can connect you with other successful individuals. With an expanded network, building a career becomes much easier.

Skills Training

One particularly important benefit of having a mentor is that he or she will assist you in developing your skills. A competent mentor will hone your strengths that are necessary for accomplishing crucial goals.

The best mentors have already achieved what you’re aiming for. As such, they’re capable of identifying what you’re missing. This saves time you’d otherwise spend on searching for the right skills and gives you more time for self-development.

Accountability

When you’re trying to achieve a goal, the biggest challenge is to stay motivated. With a mentor by your side, staying motivated is much easier. The key is in having someone you’re being held accountable to.

A good mentor always stays honest with you. If they think you’re not trying hard enough, they will tell you. If they think you’re making good progress, they will tell you that too. This kind of encouragement will keep you going even when things become overwhelming.

A Long-Lasting Relationship

Typically, mentor-mentee relationships are long-lasting, but some are short-lived. If you manage to hit it off right, the relationship you have with your mentor can become one that lasts for the rest of your career.

Continued collaboration introduces a myriad of benefits. You will have both the resources and the consistency required to maintain a prosperous business.

A Greater Chance of Success

A number of surveys and researches have shown that business owners with mentors are more likely to succeed. A 2013 executive coaching survey, for example, found that 80% of executives had mentors.

With an experienced mentor by your side, your chances of success in life and business are increased. Occasional checks, timely advice, valuable connections, as well as moral and spiritual guidance, are bound to leapfrog you to success.

As you can see, having a skillful mentor in life and business introduces a number of benefits. Through a long-term relationship, he or she can assist you in achieving success faster than if you tried on your own.

What is A Health Coach? What do they do? Do we really need them? These are questions that I get asked a lot.

To answer these questions, it is useful to understand that although we are living longer, statistics show that we are not living ‘well’. We are suffering from more illnesses, both mentally and physically, and up to ninety percent of them are thought to be caused by diet and lifestyle choices.

This is actually good news as it means we really can be CEO’s of our own health; that prevention and treatment through ‘healthy living’ is possible. It also means that Health Coaches are needed because ‘healthy living’ is not that easy.

We are currently living in a world of information and misinformation overload, whereby people are confused and stuck. Although it has never been easier to access information telling us how to ’get healthy’ it has also never been harder to sift through the constantly changing information, find the right information, get started and stay on track. Changing our behaviour and habits isn’t easy. If it was, many more of us would feel fit and well.

Health Coaches are trained to help you find the right information, create a plan, get started and ensure that you stay on a path that is ‘right’ for you.

Health is a journey not a destination, and a Health Coach travels with you.

A Health Coach understands the bio-individuality of people and will work holistically with you. They do not align with one particular diet or regime and they are not drill sergeants. As an Integrative Nutritional Health Coach I have studied over one-hundred diets and denial, calorie counting and ultra-strict regimes, which are unsustainable, are completely out of the window!

Looking at all aspects of our lifestyles
Nor is health coaching just about diet. It is true that what we eat does directly affect our health and how we feel, however conversely how we are feeling and our lifestyle often affects what, how and when we eat.

A Health Coach supports their clients to look at all aspects of their lives and the interplay between them. This includes looking at our sleep, stress levels, exercise, and our relationships both socially and with work. If any of these are out of balance it can negatively impact our overall health.

A Health Coach also has a listening role. They need to understand what you are trying to achieve, discover what you are struggling with and identify if there are certain barriers that are preventing you from attaining your goals.

Health Coaches often work in conjunction with other health practitioners. Maybe a diabetic nurse has told you to lose weight, or give up sugar, though being told it and being able to do it are two totally different things. The Health Coach will give you the support and tools you need to help you achieve this.

Individual goals such as, losing weight, improving fitness, having more energy, feeling less stressed, alleviating the symptoms of illness, managing a new health diagnosis are ultimately achieved by implementing small, impactful, relevant, achievable, sustainable lifestyle changes. In this way, you are likely to achieve your goals and so remain engaged and motivated. You could say that ‘success breeds success’.

The ultimate aim of a Health Coach is always to empower you so that you become your own expert and achieve the health and wellness that you desire to enjoy your life to the full.

I am an Integrative Nutritional Health Coach and work holistically with my clients. I am client led which means I work with what the client brings.

If you would like to achieve your health goals this year then please contact me to find out more. I offer a free 50 minute consultation.

What is a Health Coach?
It’s an expression that you hear about and read about, though what really defines a Health Coach and what do they do? In this article, Helen Prosper from Live Well and Prosper gives us an insight into what Health Coaching entails and how everyone can benefit. And don’t get alarmed, a health coach isn’t an army sergeant, there’s no boot camp or drills! The ethos of a health coach today is not all about denial and ultra strict regimes, it’s actually about finding out what really works for you and what you want, so that you can enjoy life to the full.

A health model that supports individual health and wellness needs
The UK Health Coaches Association is set on improving the health of the nation and is supporting a health care model that supports the individual health and wellness needs of people through sustainable lifestyle changes. Herein lies the key as in order to be sustainable, all steps and goals must be small and easy in order to make them realistic and attainable. Success breeds success.

Listening and understanding to bring balance to individual needs
Everyone has unique goals; some people want to lose weight, some want to get fit or have more energy, some want to alleviate the symptoms of illness as much as is possible, and some just want to feel the best they can. A Health Coach will listen to you in order to understand, they will find out what you are struggling with and through this understanding work with you to enable you to optimise your health and wellbeing. They look at the complete picture and, yes, this includes nutrition and exercise, though it also may include other aspects of your life including lifestyle, relationships, work, your sense of worth and purpose. The aim is that that you will achieve your own version of balance in all areas of your life and find your own way of managing so that you can truly live life to the full.

A Health Coach will work with you on a one to one basis enabling and supporting you to:
Identify areas of change
Implement a health supportive lifestyle
Manage and attain health modifications
Achieve personal health goals

Everyone is truly unique and so a Health Coach doesn’t promote a particular diet or a particular exercise regime. There is a lot more to health than what you are eating and what you are doing physically; your thoughts, the people, and the things that surround you have a major impact. Through coaching, you will be able to sift through what is working for you and what is not, make changes and better self-manage your life, which in turn will lead to a sense of wellbeing and a sense of worth.

Implementing a healthy lifestyle in a caring and supportive way
It really is all about working with the individual in a supportive and caring way in order to understand and implement a healthy lifestyle. Life is for living and enjoying and with gradual small lifestyle changes that are specific to you, which overtime will make a difference to your health and wellbeing so that you will achieve a sense of balance and a lot more will fall into place. So, why not give it a go?

Helen Prosper works holistically with her clients and is client led, which means she works with what the client brings. Do you turn to jelly at the thought of having to make a speech in public? How do you know this is scary? For that matter, how do we know anything is anything?

Our brain clocks up what things mean from learned experience, which gets tucked away in memories to help us in future. It also attaches a feeling to the memory, an ‘e-motion’ to get us to do things. Either to do more of it or to get away from it to safety.

Memories and emotions are very useful then. And they happen unconsciously, and fast. They have to, to keep us safe.

The trouble is that most of our formative experience about what happens when we do things in public happens before our mind is capable of better judgement. When we move from the bosom of our family to a very different public at school. Where we learn that other kids can laugh at us if we fluff reading a book out loud or we can feel humiliated if a teacher makes an example of us.

Early experience primes us unconsciously to avoid or not enjoy doing things in public. We’ll learn to stay safe or seek safety, which can become self-perpetuating.

Our unconscious learnings don’t need to stay fixed though. I use Cognitive Hypnotherapy to help people to uncouple from the meanings they’ve had up to now. The key is working with the unique way your mind works.

To help with public speaking, there are two main ways I help people. Firstly by reframing your past unconscious learning using visualisation techniques and hypnosis suggestions. We then work together to build tools you can use in the moment of presenting, to get any remaining nerves under control and make the most of the opportunity.

One of the first things I will teach all my clients with any sort of confidence issue is simply how to breathe stress away. There are free instructions and an audio download here

Autumn is here and we will soon be heading into winter. One of life’s certainties; the changing of the seasons which are all part of the circle of life. In fact the only constant in life is change!

Why Do We Resist Change And Why Does It Cause Us Stress?
Most usually it is because we do not feel in control and maybe we try to resist the changes we are going through, even though many of these changes may be inevitable. When we feel stress, our bodies – no matter what the stress, be it minor or major – trigger the primitive fight and flight response. A rush of hormones, adrenaline and cortisol are released, which are designed to allow us to physically escape from predators or track down our prey. This rush of hormones is then rebalanced through the physical exertion of pursuit or escape.

Modern day stresses create the same hormonal responses in our bodies, the difference being that the stressors can be things such as a loss of a job, relationship difficulties, or just the pure overwhelm of trying to do too much in one day, rushing for an appointment, or being unable to pay the bills for instance. The problem with today’s stresses is that, more often than not, they are prolonged and persistent. Low grade continuous stress has the greatest impact on both our physical and mental health.

We can cope with stress for a few weeks and then our bodies’ protective mechanisms struggle to adapt, and the chronic stress situation becomes established. The body at this point is in an inflammatory mode creating digestive, joint, or skin problems to name a few. The immune system becomes compromised, and colds or high blood pressure can develop. The body’s systems become so sensitised that even an upsetting text can create a strong internal response!

Your body is working hard to protect you from your ‘predators’, though if your ‘predator’ is a low-level modern day type of stress, then you may feel unable to re-set the automatic reactions in your body.

One of the most calming and simple things you can do is to breathe gently in through the nose and out through the mouth a few times. This gives your body a chance to rebalance during the times you feel stress building up.

Sometimes the changes we encounter in our lives are unavoidable and it is how we respond to these inevitable changes that determine whether we experience stress or not. If you feel overwhelmed by change and stress and would like assistance in coping, then Ann Rambaut – Chartered Physiotherapist and Body/Mind Coach – offers several types of treatment programmes, including wonderfully deeply relaxing body techniques, and/or tools to assist on a daily basis, as well as coaching.

The Importance of Purpose – for those with M.E., CFS & Fibromyalgia

As a Chrysalis Effect Practitioner, Jackie Webster understands the importance of each of the 8 Essentials Elements in life (as identified by The Chrysalis Effect) being addressed and brought into balance, knowing that every time one of the eight elements is addressed and explored it affects and benefits the other seven.

None is more important than Life Purpose. Jackie has found that for some, they have known from an early age what they want to do, however many have found that they have drifted into their careers, been bound by finances, duty, or by pure accident!

Being a ‘highly sensitive person’, as the majority of those with chronic exhaustive conditions are, can result in the person trying to survive in the wrong work environment, often where there is too much stimulation which comes at a price in terms of their wellbeing. However, being strong-minded Type A personalities, they often stay in unhealthy positions for longer than they should.

Creating the right environment to thrive in, to have enjoyment within, is key to recovery. This applies to those able to work and those in Phase 2 (crash) who are presently bed-bound or house-bound and wish to return to work in the future.

One of the questions clients often ask Jackie is “How do you discover what your Life Purpose is?” As a Wellbeing Coach, Jackie has many tools and techniques to unlock the answers her clients have within themselves. Supporting her Recoverers as they look at the parts of their jobs that energise them, the parts that fatigue them, the things that make their souls sing can be incredibly productive with many ‘lightbulb’ moments. She will help her Recoverers check in with “Are you expressing yourself fully without frustration? Are you doing what makes you happy? If there were no obstacles in your way, health-wise or financially, what would you love to do?”

When it comes to moving forward, how can you if you don’t know where it is you want to go?
Life Purpose – creating that compelling future to step into, goal by goal.

LOVE YOUR BODY

Can you even consider that as a possibility or does it sound like a tall order? What if you could view your body as your friend?

We are continuously bombarded with information about what we should or should not be doing to keep our bodies healthy and fit. Often unrealistic ideals are set, about how our bodies should look which tends to create a battle with our bodies – we stop listening to what our bodies are telling us and look outside of ourselves for answers. When we think we have the answer, our body may start rebelling over too much exercise, too little exercise, too much or too little food. It creates unease in the form of pain, anxiety, or inflammation, to name only a few symptoms it creates to protect us.

It’s well recognised that through the mind-body connection, thoughts and emotions cause physical symptoms. What if those physical symptoms are actually your body asking you to listen to what you already know? For example you’re wanting to make a big change in your life and you develop back and knee pain. It’s a possibility that the back and knee pain could be you holding yourself back because the change you would like to make is scary and suddenly you are thinking maybe this is not such a good idea!

Ann Rambaut has just completed a year-long Life Transformation coaching course. Using her new skills Ann can guide you through that change (for example) to find out what is holding you back. Coaching will also assist you to feel better about yourself and bring about the kind of life you would like. When you feel better about yourself you can love and trust your body.

Ann also offers a choice of other treatments using her physiotherapy, acupuncture, craniosacral and bowen therapies, and body-bliss techniques.

Perhaps you’ve always intuitively known your life purpose, maybe you’ve invested time and energy in defining a career you love, the place you want to be and the people you want to be with. Hopefully you’ve dared to dream your ideal life and you’ve been taking steps to create this reality. Research shows we’re happier when we have a sense of purpose, our life has meaning beyond ourselves and we feel we’re making our unique contribution to the world. When we focus on our passions, talents and strengths, I believe we’re most likely to be successful and, in the long run, that will bring the highest rewards. As the challenging economy continues, here are my top ten suggestions:

There’s no going back.

It might seem like you’ve taken a step in the wrong direction, however once you’ve defined where you want to be, your subconscious (some would say the Universe or your Higher Self) is on the case. You might have taken the ‘scenic route’ though as long as you keep your dream in mind, you’re not lost.

Do whatever it takes.

Your dream might be to be a Celebrity Chef yet the only work available is in the local café. Ditch the ego and have patience! There are plenty of successful role models who’ve had mundane jobs. We never know how our different experiences have contributed to our success until we look back – perhaps this opportunity will teach you something essential for living your dream, maybe you’ll be introduced to your future business partner or this environment will allow you to shine in an unexpected way? At the very least you’ll have a story to tell!

Define yourself by your purpose.

Thinking about yourself in terms of the life you want to have e.g. as a ‘Celebrity Chef’, a) will help you keep focused on where you’re going and b) will influence your approach to your current reality. Trusting you won’t be in these circumstances for long, how can you make the best of this situation? How can you make a positive impact? Imagine your boss/colleagues/customers being interviewed by the press in the future when you’re living your dream, what would you like them to say about you?

Avoid the blame game.

Taking the lack of opportunity personally (I can’t be good enough) or blaming redundancy/the economy/that boss, will take you on a destructive path of negative thinking. Unfortunately this can often become a self-fulfilling prophecy – if you don’t think you deserve to live your dream, your dream will elude you. What’s more, you’ll need all your resourcefulness to handle the challenges ahead, and someone with a head full of negativity is unlikely to be at the peak of their effectiveness.

Be flexible and adapt.

Being made redundant has been the impetus many have needed to take the plunge and follow their hearts. There are opportunities in every economic situation. Perhaps your niche is in providing a service more cost effectively or in saving people money? Whilst keeping the key elements of your dream, acting with integrity and staying true to your values, can you tailor your offering to better meet people’s needs?

Don’t believe all you hear.

There are still wealthy people and there are still people spending money.  The recession may have no adverse impact on you or your purpose. It might even make it easier to achieve. Take care of your energy and don’t let it be contaminated by the negative thinking of others. This applies to well meaning friends and family as well as the media.

Take an international perspective.

Economies and markets vary. The skills you are unable to market in the UK may be highly sort after in Australia. Moving to somewhere with a lower cost of living might give you the impetus you need to get your business idea off the ground as well as providing you with some unique experiences and opportunities. Learning how people in different countries use limited resources to solve the problems you’re facing can help you move forward. And with technology you can always base yourself in one location whilst reaching people in another.

Follow your passions.

When we engage our passions, we have the most Soul Sanook (fun) we often lose track of time and we have a deep sense of fulfilment. Our dream lives will be full of passion but it’s also important for us to engage in our passions until then. This could be the way we approach our work, volunteering our time or finding lower cost versions of our hobbies.  For example a recent client who loves horses though isn’t in a position to afford her own horse or lessons is volunteering at a charity that provides horse riding for children with disabilities.

Invest in you.

This is a great time for learning and developing your skills. This could be reading to keep ahead in your field or offering your services free of charge to gain feedback that will help you hone your offering.  Build up your reserves in terms of your skills, energy, ideas and, if possible, savings. Prepare, research, plan and get organised. As well as being ready to launch when the time’s right, this will also help you spot opportunities and select the ones that best fit you.

Mind the gap.

There is probably quite a gap between your current reality and where you want to be and that gap may well be widening. As I suggested in 2 and 3 above, identifying too strongly with your current reality could feed your negative thinking and lead you believe your life has no purpose. On the other hand, living as if its only your dream that’s important can have you missing out on life now, avoiding necessary actions and running up debts. Your job is to find the balance where you can take care of what needs to be done in the real world and stay present in the here and now, whilst keeping your dream alive as your guidance and inspiration.

I’ve used the terms ‘purpose’ and ‘dream’ interchangeably here but they do have quite different flavours. Living your dream (also referred to as your vision) suggests you’ve created a life that fully nurtures you whilst your life purpose implies you are making a specific impact in the world. Both come from a deep sense of knowing yourself and making the most of your unique talents and passions. They may also have spiritual or religious meaning for you.

Having defined your life purpose or your dream, a favourite coaching question is ‘And who do you need to be to live that life?’ The answer that returns usually has something to do with celebrating our uniqueness and having the courage to face our fears. The good news is you can get on with being that person any time, any place, anywhere! We can compromise in our activities, income and indulgences whilst keeping our purpose, relationships and integrity intact. Even though we might not be doing the things in our dream life, by engaging fully in our passions we can still be the person we dream of being, we can let our uniqueness shine. And maybe this is actually our true purpose, to be who we were meant to be!
